What will you learn? The Open Water course is your foundation. It’s a comprehensive program that covers everything you need to know to become a safe and competent diver. Through a combination of online theory (eLearning), confined water practice sessions, and four open water dives, you will master essential skills. You’ll learn how to set up your dive gear, control your buoyancy, clear your mask of water, and handle various underwater situations, all under the close supervision of our PADI Instructors.

PADI Advanced Open Water Diver: Expanding Your Horizons
Who is this course for? This course is for certified Open Water divers who are ready for the next level. Don’t let the name “Advanced” intimidate you; think of it as the “Adventures in Diving” course. It’s designed to be taken right after your Open Water certification and is all about gaining experience, building confidence, and trying out different types of diving.
What will you learn? The Advanced Open Water course is structured around five “Adventure Dives.” Two are mandatory:
- Deep Dive: You’ll learn the procedures and safety considerations for diving to a new maximum depth of 30 meters (100 feet).
- Underwater Navigation: You’ll master using a compass and natural references to navigate underwater like a pro.
You then choose three more elective dives. In Hurghada, we highly recommend:
- Peak Performance Buoyancy: The single most valuable skill for any diver, allowing you to float effortlessly, conserve air, and protect the reef.

PADI Rescue Diver: Becoming the Best Buddy You Can Be
Who is this course for? This is for Advanced Open Water divers who are ready to shift their focus from themselves to the well-being of other divers. It’s for those who want to learn to anticipate and prevent problems, and to confidently manage dive emergencies if they ever arise. Many divers describe this as the most challenging, yet most rewarding, course they ever take.
(Prerequisite: You must also have completed an Emergency First Response (EFR) Primary and Secondary Care course within the last 24 months. We offer this one-day course at our dive center.)
What will you learn? The PADI Rescue Diver course builds on your existing skills and teaches you to become a better, more aware dive buddy. You’ll learn about self-rescue, recognizing and managing stress in other divers, using emergency equipment, and rescuing panicked or unresponsive divers. The course involves practicing these skills through realistic scenarios.
